Former Leicestershire CCC player Carl Crowe is now part of the team's coaching staff as Spin Bowling Coach/Head Scout.

Crowe rejoined the club to take over from Nic Pothas as Second XI Coach in a temporary role until the end of the 2016 season.

Off-spinner Crowe was part of Leicestershire’s 1998 County Championship winning squad before successfully going into coaching.

His achievements with England Women include being part of two Ashes series wins and the 2013 ICC World Cup. Crowe, an ECB Level Four coach, had a spell with Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL after remodelling the action of world ranked number one bowler Sunil Narine.

Crowe linked up again with Narine during the 2016-17 KFC Big Bash during a period on the coaching staff at Melbourne Renegades.

He then returned to the Fischer County Ground to work with the coaching staff at the club, currently working with our spin bowlers and on talent identification.
