Travelling by car:

From the M1 Motorway:

M69/M1 Junction 21, take the A5460 along Narborough Road for approximately one mile. At the traffic lights at the junction of the Premier Travel Inn, turn right into Braunstone Lane. After approximately one mile, at the T-junction with Aylestone Road, turn left.

For satellite navigation please use the postcode LE2 8EB to gain access via the Curzon Road Entrance.

Finding Your Way Around:

For entry via Curzon Road, follow the directions to Aylestone Road as above, but after 3/4 of a mile turn right on to Duncan Road followed by first left onto Curzon Road. The ground entrance is directly in front of you.

From the City Centre and the Railway Station:

Take the A594 (Waterloo Way/Welford Road) heading south. Pass Leicester Tigers Rugby Club on your right and follow signs for A426 towards Rugby. Join Aylestone Road and pass car dealership on the left. After one mile, turn left into Duncan Road, followed by first left into Curzon Road. The ground entrance is directly in front of you.

Car parking:

* Please note that the only on-site parking for the ICC Women's World Cup is for blue badge holders.

The car park at the Curzon Road entrance to the ground (LE2 8EB) has a capacity for approximately 200 cars (Subject to fixture). There are 12 parking spaces for blue badge holders in the Curzon Road car park. These can be reserved in advance to a fixture. There are also 9 spaces for blue badge holders available behind the Meet, located close to the Park Hill Drive entrance.

Booking in advance:

Car park spaces for individual days may be booked in advance at a cost of £5 - this is the only way to guarantee your parking space. Parking will be limited for all matches, with any remaining spaces going on sale for £10 on the day.

For NatWest T20 Blast fixtures, there is additional parking available at the Saffron Lane Athletics Ground (an approximate 10 minute walk to the ground). Parking is free for ICC Women's World Cup and will cost £5 for NatWest T20 Blast fixtures.

Please respect the residential area around the ground and refrain from parking on the roads around the ground.

Turnstiles:

There is no vehicular access to the ground from the Fischer County Ground, Grace Road itself - there is a pedestrian walkway at the side of the Cricketers Pub in order to access the turnstiles at the Park Hill Drive entrance. There are turnstiles at the main entrance off Curzon Road and on the Milligan Road side of the ground. Please note that the Milligan Road turnstiles are only open for NatWest T20 Blast matches. The turnstiles open 90 minutes before all Leicestershire CCC matches, and two hours before ICC Women's World Cup fixtures.

Travelling by bus:

Arriva:

Routes 47, 48, 84, 84A, 85, 86 & 87 travel from Leicester City Centre and run close to the Fischer County Ground, Grace Road.

Turn right out of the main entrance of the train station onto Charles Street and you can pick up the Service 86/87 on either Rutland Street or Belvoir Street.

Bus services running from St Margarets Bus Station in the City Centre:

  • Service 47,48 - Saffron Lane (every 15 mins weekdays, 20 mins Saturdays & 30 mins Sundays)
     
  • Service 84,84A - Aylestone Road (every 10 mins weekdays/Saturdays & 30 mins Sundays) drops off at various points close to the ground
     
  • Service 85 - Aylestone Road (every 10 mins weekdays/Saturdays & 30 mins Sundays) drops off at various points close to the ground.

Bus services running from Charles Street in the City Centre:

  • Service 86, 87 - (every 10 mins weekdays/Saturdays & every 30 mins Sunday drops off at various points close to the ground

When you arrive at the ground, you will be able to purchase tea, coffee, full breakfast, bacon & sausage cobs and a selection of other snacks from the Meet throughout your visit. The Friends of Grace Road also offers tea/coffee and a selection of homemade cakes in the Meet.
