Josh Cobb made a brilliant 220 for England under 19s as they took command of the first test against Bangladesh at Scarborough.
The 18-year-old, who has been opening in first-class cricket recently, used that experience to good effect by compiling a majestic 290-ball innings.
Cobb spent five-and-a-half hours at the crease, which helped England to 422-8 at the close of day one.
Cobb scored 33 boundaries in all, stroking 29 fours and also hitting four maximums.
The second highest score in the innings was 57 from Essex's Jaik Mickleburgh, which showed how well Cobb batted.
The duo put on 139 for the first wicket, and as part of the innings, Cobb batted with Leicestershire teammate James Taylor, who made 21.
Cobb was eventually out with the score reading 409 to Alauddin Babu, who took three wickets during the day.
County seamer Nathan Buck is yet to be involved in the game, but he will hope to add some runs before getting to grips on the Bangladesh top-order.
