Rob Taylor took 3-20 as Leicestershire Second XI bowled out Lancashire for 217 on the first day of the Championship game at Northern CC.

No play on second day

No play was possible on the second day of the Championship game against Kent at Grace Road.
More overnight rain, combined with heavy showers and an already sodden outfield, meant umpies Nigel Cowley and Richard Kettleborough had no choice but to postpone play for a consecutive day at midday.
The poor weather was further frustration for players and supporters, especially given there was no action yesterday and there has been no first-class fixture for four weeks given the FPT and Twenty20 games.
The third day's play is scheduled to start tomorrow at 11am.
