2nd XI Championship: Leicestershire drew with Glamorgan 144-7 (Montgomery 3-50)
Rain ruined the Second Eleven Championship match between Leicestershire and Glamorgan, with the visitors making 144-7 before play was abandoned.
Triallist Gary Montgomery, who has appeared for Warwickshire 2nds this season, was the pick of the attack with 3-50.
Charlie Dagnall also claimed 2-21, while there were wickets for Wayne White and Kieran Garside.
The rain was disappointment to all of County’s batsmen, including Ollie Pickering, who was set to open the batting following some outstanding form for Lutterworth this season.
* The 2nd XI Trophy game played the day previously was also abandoned after just ten overs, with Leics on 19-2 when rain finally caused the end of proceedings.
