Rob Taylor took 3-20 as Leicestershire Second XI bowled out Lancashire for 217 on the first day of the Championship game at Northern CC.

Buck returns for Seconds

Leicestershire paceman Nathan Buck is making a welcome return from injury in the Second XI Championship game against Northamptonshire.
Buck, who is fit again after suffering a stress reaction in his left ankle, had to wait for a bowl on his comeback as Leicestershire won the toss and elected to bat.
Matthew Boyce (99) and Tom New (84 not out) were in excellent form as the team posted 193-1 in the 49 overs of play that was possible at Desborough CC.
The duo took the score to 70-0 before rain stopped play and bad light then put a halt to proceedings later in the day.
