Jigar Naik's excellent unbeaten 84 guided Leicestershire Second XI to a four-wicket win against Northamptonshire in the Second Eleven Trophy at Oundle School.
The team slipped to 51-3 in pursuit of 202 but Naik and Tom New (42) batted extremely well to ensure County overhauled their target with 2.4 overs remaining.
Earlier, Northants were restricted to 201-9 from their 40 overs with Nadeem Malik leading the way with three wickets.
Alex Wyatt, James Sykes, Naik and Rob Taylor also chipped in with wickets as Northants were restricted after being 148-4 after 30 overs.
Taylor's Loughborough MCCU teammate David Murphy top-scored for Northants with 61.
Rob Newton (44) and former Leicestershire CCC Academy player Charles Wootton (40) also made contributions.
Leicestershire have now won three and lost four in the Trophy this term and have two games remaining.
The teams now meet tomorrow in the Championship at Desborough Town CC.
Leicestershire go into the game with confidence given they have gained three wins and a draw in their last four Championship games.
