Leicestershire CCC enjoy Civic Reception

Leicestershire CCC enjoyed a Civic Reception from Lord Mayor Robert Wann at Leicester Town Hall on Wednesday evening.

The Lord Mayor presented Leicestershire with a Civic Gift for winning the Friends Life t20 Trophy for an unprecedented third time in 2011.

A number of Leicestershire players, coaches, directors and staff attended the reception, as did Leicester City Mayor Sir Peter Soulsby and Leicester City councillors.

Everybody enjoyed the evening and Club Chairman Paul Haywood expressed his thanks in a speech given at the Reception.

He said: “On behalf of everyone Leicestershire County Cricket Club, I’d like to thank Lord Mayor Robert Wann and Leicester City Council for the Civic Reception and Gift.”
