A fine innings from Jacques du Toit could not prevent Leicestershire from slipping to defeat inside three days against leaders Sussex in the LV=County Championship match at Grace Road.

Also, scoring a double hundred (237) for Loughborough Grammar School against Nottingham High School in the David English/Bunbury under 13s National Schools Championship Semi-Final. It was also a highlight to receive an England cap and get 50* for England under 15s at Lord's

Another promising youngster at the club, Shiv Thakor has played international cricket by appearing for England under 15s.
Thakor made the headlines with an unbeaten 50 at Lord’s in the Banbury game in 2008 and is a player with plenty of potential.
Has appeared for County at all youth levels and played for the second team in 2009 around his schooling.
A highly-rated young batsman who plays with a smile on his face, Thakor continues to catch the eye at Grace Road and will hope to make further profgress in 2010.
