Nathan Buck was part of the England under 19s side who drew with Bangladesh in the second test, hence winning the series 1-0.
Buck took 2-52 in the first innings and claimed 1-31 in the second, but England couldn’t quite force a win to get the clean sweep.
Kent’s Sam Northeast made centuries in both innings of the game (107 and 149) as England made scores of 392 and 284-3 declared.
Bangladesh made 302 in their first innings and, in pursuit of 375 to win, closed on 204-8 in the second dig. Yorkshire’s off-spinner Azeem Rafiq took 5-77.
The teams next do battle in the five-game ODI series, which begins with two matches at Grace Road on Saturday and Sunday.
