Harry Gurney took 3-38 but Lancashire emerged victorious by 40 runs in the Second XI Trophy game at Grace Road.
The left armer opened the bowling for a Leicestershire side captained by Wayne White and took wickets at either end of the innings as Lancashire made 228-7.
Other wickets were taken by Sam Cliff, Liam Kinch, Ollie Freckingham and White while Kadeer Ali (8-0-37-0) also bowled tidily.
Number three batsman Jordan Clark top-scored for Lancashire with 81 and he shared 85 for the fourth wicket with captain Stephen Parry (33).
Wicket-keeper Daniel Pawson matched the skipper's score to ensure the innings ended positively for the visitors.
Lancashire had three spinners in their line-up, including highly-promising slow left arm duo Simon Kerrigan and Parry, and Leicestershire were restricted to 188-9.
The team's leading contributions from triallists Kadeer (41), James Ord (38) and Will MacVicar (26) but captain Parry and Kerrigan, who took 5-7 in the LV=County Championship win against Warwickshire last week, both bowled tidily.
Off-spinner Arron Lilley also did well and the bowlers were backed up by excellent fielding throughout the innings. It means Leicestershire Second XI have won one and lost two in the Trophy this term.
The teams now meet in a three-day Championship game at Leicester Ivanhoe CC starting tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11am.
