Foxes get close but go down to Panthers

England seamer Steve Finn took 3-30 as Middlesex Panthers beat Leicestershire Foxes by 31 runs in the CB40 competition at Grace Road this afternoon.

Second XI miss out in semi-final

Leicestershire Second XI lost their t20 semi-final against Sussex at Fenner's this afternoon.
Sussex posted 203-5 from their allocation with Kadeer Ali taking two wickets.
The Foxes made 141 in reply at Cambridge, with Will Jones top-scoring with 37.
Sussex therefore won by 62 runs and progressed to the final.
However, Leicestershire Second XI can be proud of their run in the competition, and their start to the season as a whole.
