Preparations for the new season are in full swing upstairs at The Meet as the Friends of Grace Road revealed the restyled tea bar and souvenir shop.
The serving counter has been turned 90 degrees to look over the ground and the shop area has been modernised to give more display space and allow customers easier access.
A new ‘Collectors’ cabinet’ has been introduced where specialist and collectable cricket and LCCC memorabilia will be on sale.
The season will start with a grand sale; there will be some great reductions on a range of items including golf umbrellas, sunhats and mugs.
The shop will be continuing to sell second-hand cricket books but to clear other titles, there will also be a clearance sale, where everything must go!
A new range of products will be launched in May, including note cards bearing images retrieved from the Club archive, along with gift ideas for Father’s Day.
The tea bar and shop will open for the first LV=CC home game of the season against Kent on Wednesday, April 17.
