Matthew Hoggard took 1-26 on his return from injury but rain ruined the Second XI's chances of victory in the Trophy match against Glamorgan at Grace Road.
Hoggard bowled his full allocation (8 overs, 1 maiden) as Glamorgan were restricted to 142-9 but rain came at the interval and the game was washed out.
Glamorgan won the toss and chose to bat under clouded skies and County made quick inroads into the batting as the visitors were reduced to 75-9 after 29.4 overs.
James Sykes finished as leading wicket-taker with 3-30 (8 overs, 0 maidens) while Rob Taylor (8-3-28-2) and Michael Thornely (3-0-5-2) each picked up a brace of victims.
Only David Lloyd offered any resistance with 20 from 43 balls but then followed a stubborn unbroken stand of 67 for the last wicket between Rawrie Smith (43 not out from 51 balls) and Dan Lewis-Williams (19 not out from 24 balls).
Other bowling figures returned from Leicestershire bowlers were: Archie Ogden 7-0-39-0 and Harry Bush 6-1-13-1.
During the interval between innings rain began to fall, and the umpires abandoned the match just after 4.30pm. Leicestershire and Glamorgan therefore took one point each from the game.
