Greg Smith and Ned Eckersley presented the Young Disabled Sports Person of the Year awards on December 10.
The event was held at the King Power Stadium as part of the Leicester Sports Partnership Trust Sports Awards. They were joined by other Leicester sports personalities Nigel Pearson, Wes Morgan, George Chuter and Rendall Munroe.
The awards are to commemorate a truly exceptional year of Olympic and Paralympic sport. They are not just about recognising those people who actively compete in a variety of sports.
They also look to honour the dedicated volunteers who give up their spare time to coach teams or individuals and those unsung heroes who work tirelessly behind the scenes to help a club run smoothly.
There were 10 categories and all nominees had to live attend school, volunteer or represent a club, within the city boundaries of Leicester.
