Leicestershire Foxes duo Josh Cobb and Greg Smith have been two of NatWest T20 Blast's leading lights this season according to the FTI Most Valuable Player Rankings.
Cobb, who finished third in the Rankings when the Foxes won the competition in 2011, is currently fifth having scored 319 runs and taken 7 wickets, while Smith is one place further back in sixth. Between them they have scored 45% of the team competition runs.
The captain has got the side of to consistently fast starts at the top of the order scoring at least 19 in eight of his nine innings. He has scored at the rate of 136 runs per 100 balls with 70 off 45 against Northants and 60 off 51 last time out versus Lancashire his best efforts.
He has also chipped in with the ball taking seven wickets and conceding at 8.15 runs per over. His career best with the ball, of course, came in the 2011 final when he took 4-22 from his four overs.

Smith has scored 385 runs at the rate of 129 runs per 100 balls. His best was a magnificent 102 off just 54 balls against Nottinghamshire and he’s also fired off three other fifties. Only Jason Roy, Jim Allenby and Craig Kieswetter have scored more runs than Smith.
