Seconds through to Finals Day

The Second XI are through to T20 Finals Day after again suffering two washouts against Unicorns at Kibworth CC today.

Heavy rain over the Bank Holiday weekend was coupled with terrible weather this morning and there was simply no chance of play.

There had been ten overs against Middlesex at Market Harborough CC yesterday but there was never the prospect of getting onto the field today given the weather was even worse than yesterday.

The two points gained (one from each match) meant that Lloyd Tennant's charges finished with 11 points and subsequently qualified for the showpiece at Arundel CC on Thursday, June 5.

Leicestershire will play Lancashire in the first game at 10.30am, while Somerset and Hampshire meet in the other semi-final on what promises to be an entertaining day of cricket.
