A fine innings from Jacques du Toit could not prevent Leicestershire from slipping to defeat inside three days against leaders Sussex in the LV=County Championship match at Grace Road.

The former Leicestershire wicketkeeper now has a hand in shaping the future of the Club as Head Coach and Academy Director.
During his 11 years in the first team at Grace Road, prior to the emergence of Paul Nixon, he claimed 323 first class victims to put him eighth in the all-time list of Leicestershire wicketkeepers.
His best season was 1988 when he completed 73 dismissals, which is the fourth best in the club’s history, while he also proved to be a capable lower order batsman, making one century in averaging 23.23 in first-class cricket during his career.
He then joined the coaching staff at Grace Road and now oversees the development and progress of the young players at the Club as well as helping to coach the first team.
