Paull's providing great prizes

The Paull’s Man of the Match award has been a big success at our NatWest T20 Blast home fixtures in 2017.

Our latest winner, John Berry, won a weekend’s car rental courtesy of Paull’s Vehicle Rental and met Luke Ronchi after the thrilling win against Yorkshire Vikings on Saturday.

Ronchi scooped 58 per cent of the vote as he won the Paull’s Man of the Match award for a second time this season.

The opening batsman is Leicestershire’s leading run-scorer with 367 runs at an impressive average of 36.70 – and an equally good strike rate of 182.58.

Our competition will run for a final time in the group stages of NatWest T20 Blast in 2017 on Thursday night. Look out for the Twitter vote to be in with a chance of winning!

* The Friends of Grace Road (FoGR) had record raffle ticket sales for the second game in succession on Saturday afternoon.

It meant another match where the jackpot of £500 was won, this time by Jim Roberts from Sutton-in-the-Elms.

Jim has been a Member at the club since 1996 and attends the FCG as regularly as he can. Jim was presented by Tom Wells after the match.

The FoGR raffle returns on Thursday evening. Tickets cost just £1 and the winner scoops half of the takings on the night, up to a maximum of £500. You have to be in it to win it, so make sure you buy your ticket!

The FoGR would like to thank all ticket purchasers for their continued support.
