LCCC players visit LOROS
Leicestershire CCC players took time out of their pre-season training to visit local hospice LOROS. The players spent time with the patients and staff, and then enjoyed a performance of Scrooge produced by the Curve, which was enjoyed by all.
The players who visited were Gavin Griffiths, Rob Sayer and Harry Dearden and it was clear that both the patients and staff really appreciated the players making time to come to visit.
Leicestershire CCC Corporate Partnership Manager Tracey Branson also went to LOROS. She said: “It was great of the lads to come and spend time with some amazing people, they definitely put a smile on everyone’s faces and they thoroughly enjoyed the performance!”
LOROS are planning to visit the Fischer County Ground at some of our home fixtures and it is an incredibly worthwhile cause to donate to.
Everyone at Leicestershire CCC would like to thank LOROS staff for the continued work they put in for our local community and wish all patients and staff a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year.
