LCCC announce founder Community Partners

Leicestershire CCC are delighted to announce that Edmonds & Slatter Opticians, Nuffield Health, Red Monkey Play and Workflow Solutions & Support have become founder members of the club’s new Community Partnership scheme.
The club have set up this additional opportunity to form closer links between the business community, the professional club and the recreational game.
LCCC have enjoyed a successful relationship with Edmonds & Slatter Opticians, Nuffield Health and Red Monkey Play in previous seasons, and are pleased to be working alongside the companies again. The club also welcomes Workflow Solutions & Support as a new sponsor ahead of the 2017 season.
Edmonds & Slatter Opticians support LCCC players and staff with eye tests and ongoing support. Edmonds & Slatter Opticians Business Development Manager Jess Slatter said: "We are excited to build on our relationship with LCCC by engaging with our local community, raising awareness of the importance of vision in health and sport. We have a strong family ethic at our core so feel this is the perfect partnership for us."
Since their official partnership in 2014, Nuffield Health has continued to provide ongoing health care and treatment to the players of LCCC. Hospital Director, Tim Shewbridge said, “As the UK’s largest not for profit healthcare provider, and one of the largest providers of private Children and Young People’s services in the East Midlands, we are delighted to be involved in club’s Community Partnership initiative.”
Red Monkey Play installed the fantastic play area which is enjoyed by many visiting children at the Fischer County Ground. Simon Winfield, Managing Director of Red Monkey Play, said: “We are delighted to be working with LCCC and to be part of their exciting Community Partnership initiative.
“As a local business supplying schools in and around the city with wooden play equipment we believe it is key that we support our local activities and the cricket club undertake so much great work with the schools and local community.”
Workflow Group is a leading print and document solutions specialist which helps organisations streamline and optimise print and back office processes to be more effective and more efficient. Workflow’s director, Mark Ksher, said: “We are really excited about forging our new partnership with LCCC. It offers a great platform to showcase our cutting-edge business solutions through the highly active social scene that the cricket club offers.”
LCCC’s Community team work tirelessly across the region, engaging with 20,000 playing members through the 140 cricket clubs in Leicestershire and Rutland and inspiring more than 20,000 children as part of the extensive schools programme.
We are recognised as having one of the best family matchday experiences of any first-class cricket club. In 2016, nearly 3,500 children enjoyed our Red Monkey Play Area, Foxes Den and post match Fan Zone, where players sign autographs, pose for selfies and talk to young supporters.
There is also the chance to make a real difference to cricket in the communities of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland by becoming involved as an LCCC Community Partner. Funds raised will help to provide quality coaching and awareness of the game across the region.
The LCCC Community Partnership package includes branding opportunities at the Fischer County Ground, in the Foxes Den and on Charlie Fox Club communications, as well as the opportunity to engage with the club’s 60,000+ social media followers.
