Learn from the pros over half-term!
Don’t be stumped for ideas over the school holidays - Leicestershire CCC has a range of exciting cricket activities for youngsters of all ages!
The ever-popular Pro Specialist clinics will be returning over the February half-term. These are focussed specifically on various aspects of the game, including batting on the front/back foot, batting against spin, wicket-keeping and fielding, and bowling seam and spin.
Led by experienced ECB qualified coaches Stephen Franklin and Dips Patel, the sessions are aided by past and present LCCC contracted players including Lewis Hill, Callum Parkinson, Gavin Griffiths and many others.
Our clinics are for two age groups: 9-13 years and 14-18 years plus sessions for players from both age ranges. They are held in the Mike Turner Cricket Centre at the Fischer County Ground, and cost just £25 for a two-hour session.
In the first week of the Christmas holidays, you are able to enter a squad of ten for the Foxes 8s Indoor Tournaments. Held for different age ranges, these incrediball/tapeball games are great fun.
The Foxes 8s Indoor Tournaments then return over February, with sessions for girls running on Thursday, February 21 and Friday, February 22.
Details for all clinics, including times and dates, are available in a downloadable PDF HERE.
