Role - Head of Strength & Conditioning
Greg joined Leicestershire CCC as Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach during the 2017 season before taking over as Head of Strength and Conditioning in February 2018.
Greg’s role at the club is to oversee the physical preparation of Leicestershire’s professionals and also support the next generation by working with the Academy pathway and Second XI.
He studied Elite Sports Performance at Leeds Metropolitan University, from 2010-2012 before taking time away from academic study to coach in Australia in 2012-13.
On returning to the UK, Greg completed his Applied Sports Science degree at Loughborough University part time. He did this alongside a strength and conditioning role with the MCC University Cricket programme and the ten other high performance sports.
After graduating Greg spent three months in the United States, working in college sport, before returning to take up the Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach role at Hampshire Cricket in September 2015.
In February 2017, after 18 months on the south coast Greg returned to the United States, for another three months in college sport before joining Leicestershire CCC during the 2017 campaign.
