All-rounder George Rhodes joined Leicestershire in August 2019 from Worcestershire.
Having been part of Worcestershire’s academy, Rhodes made his first-class debut on 10 July 2016 against Northamptonshire in the 2016 County Championship.
Since then Rhodes has made 49 appearances across all formats, scoring 1,163 runs and taking 21 wickets with a top score of 106 against Yorkshire.
Rhodes' debut for the Running Foxes also came against Northamptonshire CCC at the Uptonsteel County Ground, where he impressed with 61no in an innings which Leicestershire found themselves under pressure early on.
He then featured for the remaining two fixtures of the 2019 Specsavers County Championship season, with his best score of the two games coming in the first innings against Lancashire CCC, posting 43.
The Running Foxes' number 34 featured in all 2020 Bob Willis Trophy fixtures, including the opening round victory over Lancashire CCC as well as the majority of the journey to the Vitality Blast quarter-finals.
