The Friends of Grace Road (FoGR) was established in 1971 when a group of like-minded Leicestershire cricket supporters came together to organise coach trips to away games and sell Club-related souvenirs.
The FoGR activities have differed over the years, but now a large group of FoGR volunteers raise funds for the Club by running the FoGR Café in the Meet, holding FoGR 50/50 Raffles and organising special FoGR events, such as an Annual Autumn Craft Fayre and an Annual Quiz Night. All donate freely of their time and efforts to give everyone who comes to Grace Road this unique service and experience - appreciated by members and visitors alike.
Friends of Grace Road Events Update 23.07.2020
The Friends of Grace Road (FoGR) Committee have announced the cancellation of all of their events due to take place during the remainder of 2020.
Given the uncertainty of the COVID-19 situation in relation to indoor events, the Committee has decided to take an early decision to cancel all of the FoGR planned events in 2020, which include; the FoGR Winter Lunches, the FoGR Autumn Fayre and the FoGR Quiz Night.
The FoGR Cafe service which is provided on matchdays at the Fischer County Ground, will also be cancelled throughout the 2020 season.
The FoGR Committee would like to thank supporters of the FoGR events.
