Crofton Alexander

Leicestershire CCC has appointed Crofton Alexander as the new Head of Strength and Conditioning.

Crofton has lots of experience in working within a sporting environment and will start at Grace Road on Monday.

An accredited Strength & Conditioning Coach since 2008, Crofton currently sits on the board as a director for the UKSCA.

Crofton started his career at London Wasps and worked at the club for seven years as Senior Strength and Conditioning Coach. Wasps won the Heineken Cup in 2007 and the Premiership in 2008 during his time at the club.

Crofton then worked as Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach for the LTA Accredited High Performance Tennis Academy before joining Edinburgh Rugby, where he has worked for the last 15 months.

He will work alongside Head Physiotherapist Rob Leather and Aileen Campbell, who has been appointed as the Club’s intern in the Strength & Conditioning department.

Crofton said: “I am delighted to be joining a club which has shown ambitions to be one of the top county cricket clubs. This represents a great opportunity for me to work in professional county cricket and I am very much looking forward to the challenge ahead.

“It is clear to see that everyone connected to the club wants to drive forward and are determined to bring success, so this made the decision to join the club a very easy one for me to make.”
