Grease - Outdoor Cinema Event

Leicestershire County Cricket Club is delighted to confirm a second outdoor cinema event of the summer with the open air screening of Grease at the Fischer County Ground in the evening on Saturday, August 3.

Grease released in June 1978, depicts the love story of Danny and Sandy through 1950s and complete with doo-wop’s and hand jives, it became an immediate box office success and fan favourite!

You are welcome to bring a picnic and a blanket or deck chairs as you sit back and relax on the cricket outfield as the film is shown on the big screen. We will be offering traditional cinema food and drink so expect to see popcorn, hot dogs, sweet stall and much more on sale so you can enjoy the movie in style!

Get your outfits ready as there will be prizes for the best dressed characters! There will also be children’s activities including a bouncy castle and face painting.

Gates will open at 5:30pm with the film starting at 7pm. Family tickets are available for £20 (2 adults and 3 children), while individual tickets are priced at £8 for adults and £4 for children. Please note that prices will increase if there are any tickets available on the day.

On-site car parking can be pre-booked for £5 and, due to high demand, we recommend booking in advance.
