Academy Fox raises money for NHS

Leicestershire County Cricket Club Academy Player Uday Modhwadia is running 10km every day to raise money for the NHS Charities Together.

Uday has swapped his cricket bat for running trainers as he set himself the challenge to run 10km every day for six weeks.

Uday said: "I have decided to run 10km everyday for 6 weeks to try to raise money for the NHS. I was inspired by the hero that is captain Tom Moore. I was also inspired by Dips Patel (LCCC Second XI Coach) who ran the London Marathon last year."

"I decided to raise money for the NHS because of the increased pressure they are under in this time of crisis. As of today, 30th April 2020, this is my 14th day of running, so there's quite a lot of days left to complete the challenge. I would like to thank everyone for their amazing support."

Everyone at Leicestershire County Cricket Club is extremely proud of Uday's fundraising efforts.
