Operational update from LCCC
How we are changing the way we work to protect the health of our staff, players and supporters
In line with Government guidance, Leicestershire County Cricket Club has implemented a number of operational changes in response to the global coronavirus health crisis.
This will see the club reduce its staffing levels on site to minimal levels at The Fischer County Ground to support efforts to protect the health and wellbeing of employees and supporters during this difficult period. We are making plans for the majority of our staff to work from home, with a few on site who are unable to do so (i.e. our Groundstaff and Facilities team).
We will endeavour to keep our Members and supporters updated with any developments on our social media platforms, the official website www.leicestershireccc.co.uk and via social media channels and email.
If you have any general enquiries please continue to email us at email@example.com

Leicestershire CCC Chairman Mehmooda Duke said: “We have an extremely hardworking group of staff and we have always built our own sense of cricket family, our own ways of working, and strong procedures over the years. Together, we have to keep the foundations of that family strong and work hard to support each other in every way we can.
“Health and Safety is of paramount importance to the club. We naturally have a responsibility to protect our players, our staff and our Members and supporters and their families. The players will continue to keep themselves fit and active from home, while our staff continue to diligently prepare for the resumption of cricket, being creative and innovative in their various roles so we are ready to return even stronger when the time comes.
“We would like to urge all connected to the club to follow all the guidance given, be calm and sensible, take extra care of themselves and be kind to others – especially the elderly and the most vulnerable. We must all stick together in these unprecedented times.
“The ECB has issued a clear statement and are working hard on a number of scenarios for the 2020 season. We will continue to communicate with Members and supporters on the key areas.”
