2020 Reconvened AGM
Leicestershire CCC held its reconvened 2020 Annual General Meeting yesterday evening.
Meeting Chairman Mehmooda Duke MBE DL and Meeting Host Dan Nice were present in the Charles Palmer Suite at the Fischer County Ground with all other attendees joining online through Zoom.
John Thorpe and Shahid Sheikh OBE were elected as Elected Directors, and Sean Jarvis’ appointment as a Nominated Director was ratified by Members.
It was noted that Russell Spiers would continue in his role of Organisation Director and that Louise Seymour had joined the Board of Directors as a Council Director pursuant to Rule 18.3, and it was confirmed that Jonathan Duckworth and Stuart Cope have joined Leicestershire CCC as Board Advisers.
It was noted at the reconvened AGM that Sean will resign as a Nominated Director before taking up the post of Chief Executive Officer in June.
John Lee had not sought re-election as a Director at the AGM and Chairman Mehmooda Duke MBE DL thanked John for his three years of service to the Club as a Director.
Finance Director Steve Kind gave a summary of the Club’s annual accounts for the year to 30 September 2019.
The meeting closed at 7.35pm.
A Board Meeting was held after the Annual General Meeting, where Russell Spiers' re-appointment as Organisation Director was ratified under Rule 16.3.3., and Mehmooda Duke MBE DL was re-appointed as Board Chairman under Rule 14.3.
