Club Statement 5: AGM 2020

Reconvened AGM – Thursday 28th May 2020 at 7pm

In these unprecedented times, and with safety at the forefront of our thinking, given the Government guidelines of social distancing currently in place, Leicestershire County Cricket Club anticipate that we will unable to hold the Annual General Meeting as normal, with members physically in attendance, in the foreseeable future.

The Board of Directors has decided that in the best interests of the Club, the reconvened Annual General Meeting will take place at 7.00pm on Thursday 28th May 2020 with members attending through a virtual platform.

The Meeting Host and Meeting Chairman will hold the Annual General Meeting in the Charles Palmer Suite, Fischer County Ground, Grace Road, Leicester, LE2 8EB, and all other participants will attend by joining the meeting on screen from their homes.

No-one other than the Meeting Host and Meeting Chairman can be physically present under current Government guidelines with public gatherings of two being the maximum.

Details as to how to join - similar to that of the successful Virtual Members' Forum held recently - are included in the information that will be sent out in due course.

The Notice of AGM & Agenda, Annual Report & Accounts for the financial year ended 30th September 2019 and Form of Proxy were sent to Members together with a covering letter from the Chair ahead of the AGM on Thursday 26th March that was adjourned with no formal business being transacted.

Members will be sent their virtual AGM documentation (a letter from the Chair, detailing how the AGM will be held) by post.

Leicestershire County Cricket Club welcomes any questions in advance of the AGM. These can be sent to Cricket Operations Manager Dan Nice at
