POINTS | Leicestershire Foxes 1, Yorkshire Vikings 1

REPORT | The Foxes' second trip to Emerald Headingley in three days was prematurely brought to an end as the umpires decided to abandon the game without a ball being bowled.

The rain began falling in Leeds at 1:30pm and hadn't briefly subsided at all by the time that the decision was made at 6:00pm.

The fixture was the second of the day to fall victim to the weather as the earlier fixture of Lancashire Lightning v Notts Outlaws at Aigburth failed to get underway.

The abandoment means that the two teams both claim a point from the fixture, and that the Foxes remain unbeaten in the 2020 Vitality Blast campaign albeit only having completed one match of four.

The Foxes now turn their attention to Friday, September 4, as they make the trip to Trent Bridge to take on Notts Outlaws.
