Leicestershire County Cricket Club can announce that Board Members, Louise Seymour and Jonathan Duckworth have been appointed as new trustees to the Leicestershire CCC Foundation.
Louise Seymour comes with a wealth of experience in managing projects and currently works as Head of Development for Leicester City Council.
Louise said: “I’m delighted to be joining the Leicestershire CCC Foundation as a new trustee. There are some really exciting fundraising events being planned for 2021 which will be great to get involved in.”
Jonathan Duckworth is joining with a strong background in Human Resources having previously worked for the RFU, Jockey Club and Swim England.
Jonathan said: “Leicestershire is a community club. The Foundation is at the heart of our inclusive drive to bring people together and support local causes which improve lives for the benefit of everyone.”
The Foundation was recently re-launched in October 2020 as a key area of the Club’s new strategy, focusing on strengthening connections and engaging with the local community.
The club have partnered with two children’s charities, Alex’s Wish and Healing Little Hearts, who will benefit from funds raised for the Foundation. Alongside the charities, the Foundation will support LCCC’s Academy and local grassroots cricket clubs to support the next generation of young cricketers.
