BBC Radio Leicester become Official Media Partner 2021
Leicestershire County Cricket Club announce BBC Radio Leicester will be working with the club as an Official Media Partner for 2021.
BBC Radio Leicester are an integral part of the county providing the latest news, updates and events from across Leicestershire and Rutland.
The club and BBC Radio Leicester have an existing relationship for several years, however the Media Partnership will look to unite and strengthen their relationship even further.
Leicestershire CCC Marketing Manager Chloe Dunn said: “As we’re looking ahead to the start of the 2021 season, it is fantastic to welcome BBC Radio Leicester as an Official Media Partner.
"We’ll be working closely together throughout the season and already have some exciting plans we’re looking to implement soon.”
BBC Radio Leicester, Acting Managing Editor Kamlesh Purohit said: "BBC Radio Leicester and Leicestershire County Cricket Club have had a special relationship that’s been built over the decades, a bond made stronger with the likes of Jonathan Agnew and Charles Dagnell, both of whom excelled with the red ball for the County before taking up the microphone with our station.
"Whether it was the euphoria of winning County Championships and Twenty20 competitions or the struggles of recent seasons, I am proud to say we have been there to bring the special moments to our listeners.
